In this section of the website you will find a wealth of important information regarding the Sixth Form, and how to apply to join us as a Sixth Form student in September 2025.

Our Sixth Form Open Evening was held on Wednesday 20th November. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer any further tours of the school. Please find below all the information you need to make an application to join us next September. The application form is at the bottom of this page. Please note, the deadline for applications is 31st January 2025.

The Coopers’ Company and Coborn School is a dynamic, inclusive and co-educational school. Inspired by our historic tradition of ‘Love as Brethren’, we strive to be outstanding in everything we do, producing young people who have the confidence, qualifications, experience and aspiration to be successful in the 21st Century world.

A Proud History

The school is also very proud of its history and traditions, dating back to 1536. You can find out more about the history of the school in our prospectus but we want to draw your attention to our link with The Worshipful Company of Coopers. This link to an ancient livery company gives us a unique aspect – through which additional support and opportunities are available to our students. It is things like this which make Coopers’ Coborn such a fantastic place; it is the wealth of opportunity and experience which we can offer.

Striving For Perfection

You have an important decision to make: to decide if Coopers’ Coborn Sixth Form is right for you. We have high expectations of behaviour, appearance, effort and attitude. We are uncompromising in our desire to ensure all our students succeed. We are not perfect, yet. We aim to be self-improving and we are constantly striving to be better; something we tell our students to do all the time.

Most importantly, we are a community: a community bound together by the idea of ‘Love as Brethren’, that you treat everyone as though they were members of your own family. We are hugely proud of this school, the students and the staff, and we know that if you join our community you will share these values and pride.
